How was it?

Hiya

that would be exciting!

Yes, the idea is that something like this might spread so that FPNs can happen all around the 'Provinces' :D.

It would be great if people could see it happening and then went and 'grew' it elsewhere - finding the people who are 'Fulcrum' where they are, and 'go forth and multiply' haha :)

We're still trying to form what it is though - what does it mean to be 'Fulcrum'?  So.........fun!

If you wanted to do a #FPN in Oxford area, it would be great to chat - you can direct message me on twitter @fulcrumanglican or 'like' us on Facebook Fulcrumanglican page and send me a message that way.

blessings, Jody

Hi Everyone!

Just to let you know that we will be holding Fulcrum Pub Nights to give a chance for people to meet up with each other, build relationships and muse on what it means to be an open evangelical.....

People often ask us how those who feel they are 'Fulcrum' type people can connect with each other and we thought this might be a good way.

So....our first #FPN is to be held in N London (follow @fulcrumanglican on twitter)

THIS THURSDAY, 12th July, 8pm here: http://www.thecrownandanchornw1.co.uk/ (19 speciality beers! :) )

We will meet up for fun, beer, chat and we might even chat about synod.......or not.

Do let me know if you intend to come along.

Blessings, Jody

A very brief note about "decline" in a living society posted by Bowman

In the newsfeed, a column by Andrew Brown idly speculates about the reasons for the "decline of" the Church of England. If this sort of argument is not merely hateful it is naive. There is "decline in" every great and enduring institution in a living society. People die, needs...

...Faith... unites the soul with Christ as a bride is united with her bridegroom. By this mystery, as the Apostle teaches, Christ and the soul become one flesh [Ephesians 5:31-32].
