remember God's poor

Dorcas Mbambu, a christian from Butembo, Congo, with Dieu Donné,
one of 26 HIV/AIDS or war orphans she cares for

remember the poor who belong to God

remember God became poor in Bethlehem

Click here for a video clip of Graham Kings, the vicar of St Mary Islington, accidentally setting fire to the sermon sheet at the Christmas carol service on 17 December 2006.

Ironically the sermon was about the photo above of Dieu Donne, a small Congolese boy with HIV/AIDS. His family had tried to kill him to prevent cross-infection, but he was rescued by Dorcas Mbambu, a Christian who runs an orphanage for AIDS victims.

If you would like to support Dorcas, and similar AIDS and war orphan projects, please give through the Church Mission Society: visit http://webarchive.cms-uk.org/giving/donateonline.aspx and in the third box type 'Dorcas Mbambu'.
