Phil Groves

Phil is a missiologist who has been discovering the excitement of sharing Christ across cultural barriers ever since his teenage conversion. He has lived and learnt in Manchester, Uganda, Nottingham, Leeds, Tanzania and Leicestershire. While in Tanzania he began work on a PhD as he sought to develop a model for partnership. The core of the PhD is printed as an appendix in World Shaped Mission – the world mission policy of the Church of England. It is also at the heart of Continuing Indaba – a project Phil has developed within the Anglican Communion following his time as the facilitator for the listening process. His latest publication, in collaboration with Angharad Parry Jones is Living Reconciliation. The book emerges for Continuing Indaba and is designed to enable the reader to participate in the reconciliation agenda of Archbishop Justin Welby who has written the foreword.
