Report says idea of festival churches – only in use on holy days – is gaining currency in rural areas where average attendances are below 10

  1. Buildings that are only used a few times a year still require maintenance and some heating. They may attract vandals if they are believed to be disused. The way ahead must be multi purpose halls. There are also more creative uses of churches.
