  1. Talk of David Cameron’s Damascus road experience is overstated in the headline. He has expressed gratitude to Christian culture and praised the churches contribution society since he came to office. If the signal from Magic FM in the Chilterns has improved, he has not told us. He maintains a certain reserve about his personal religion. I trust he means to say what he says and this new scriptwriter will bring greater clarity but keep on message.
